Description

AdvanTech™ flooring and sheathing panels are high-performance structural panels specifically engineered to provide more water resistance and stability than plywood.  In addition, AdvanTech™ comes with a 50 year limited warranty.  And AdvanTech™ panels are warranted not to require sanding due to moisture adsorption during installation.

       

Basic Uses

AdvanTech™ flooring and sheathing panels are premium-quality alternatives to plywood. They are used in both residential and commercial construction for floor, roof and wall sheathing applications.  AdvanTech™ flooring panels are used for both single-layer and subfloor applications as well as roof sheathing.  AdvanTech™ sheathing panels are used for roof and wall sheathing as well as subflooring in two-layer systems.
Composition & Materials

AdvanTech™ engineered wood panels are bonded with an advanced resin technology system. Tests by APA, U.S. Forest Products Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory have found formaldehyde emissions from panels bonded with phenolic resin to be nonexistent or negligible. The Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has exempted wood panel products bonded with phenolic adhesives from all formaldehyde testing requirements.
 Certification and Code Compliance

AdvanTech™ flooring and sheathing panels are manufactured in conformance with PS 2, Performance Standard for Wood-Based Structural-Use Panels. Panels certified to PS-2 are code-accepted by the National Evaluation Service, Inc. (BOCA, SBCCI, UBC) as provided in NER-133.  AdvanTech™ sheathing panels bear the stamp of PFS, a qualified third-party inspection and testing agency.
