AWESOME LAKE HOME - SIKKEN'S "BUTTERNUT"

A translucent satin exterior wood coating system that is based in a special oil-alkyd resin combination that incorporates ultraviolet screening pigments and ultraviolet absorbers into the Cetol 23 Plus resin.  The end result is a highly translucent wood finish with excellent UV protection and microporosity.

Sikkens Cetol® 1 Translucent Exterior Wood finish separates wood from the elements with a durable surface barrier which repels water, while allowing excess moisture to escape thus inhibiting fungal growth.  Because the finish "breathes", it allows the logs to regulate moisture content.  

New homes use 2 coats.

Coverage: 1st coat:  allow 200 sq. ft. per gallon.

2nd coat:  allow 400 sq. ft. per gallon.

Sikkens Cetol® 23 Plus     Translucent Exterior Topcoat - more protection from ultraviolet light.  Offering a greater degree of protection from harmful effects of ultraviolet light, the secret is an unprecedented use of two UV-absorbing materials, widely dispersed and permanently fixed into the surface film.  Cetol 23 Plus retains its elasticity and remains firmly attached to the wood.  It's the ideal translucent topcoat for exterior logs.

Coverage:  350-400 sq. ft. per gallon.

Note:  Both Cetol 1 and 23+ contain pigment.  Color will darken with each coat.

Sikkens Cetol® SRD - the one-stop solution for Siding, Roofs and Decks.

Cetol SRD is an easy-to-use translucent water repellant exterior wood finish or log home areas such as logs, log siding, roofs (shakes & shingles), lattice, outdoor wooden furniture, play sets and docks.

This one-coat system incorporates finely ground transparent iron oxide pigments that result in a rich, natural and uniform coloration of the wood surface, while offering protection from moisture and UV damage.  A matte finish, based on a special oil and alkyd resin combination.  

As Cetol SRD is easy-to-use, it's the ideal choice for demanding areas where more frequent maintenance may be necessary.  Apply "wet-on-wet", resulting in longer lasting coverage.

Coverage:  200-300 sq. ft. per gallon (for new wood).

Sikkens Rubbol® DEK is formulated with a blend of alkyd resins and natural oils.  This solid color deck stain provides solid protection whether you are working with new, old or previously coated wood.  Protects against damaging UV rays, and with unique microporous qualities, inhibits blistering and cracking by allowing wood to breathe.

Coverage Rate:  300-400 sq. ft. per gallon

Available in 11 solid colors.  

Sikkens' Cetol® UV Interior offers exceptional benefits similar to Cetol BL Interior Clear, except it is specially formulated for use on bare wood.  It contains special ultraviolet inhibitors to prevent the yellowing effects of UV rays and is particularly effective on lighter woods such as pine.  

Cetol UV Interior is ideal for use on ceilings, walls and in saunas.  Matte (flat) finish, only.

Coverage:  450-550 sq. ft. per gallon.

Cetol® Interior Clear is an oil based (alkyd or solvent borne), transparent formula.  Available in satin, enhance the beauty of the wood grain while providing durable, scratch-resistant protection to the interior woodwork of your log home.  Can be used alone or over Cetol® Interior Stain.
