Paul and Ellen are thoroughly enjoying life in their custom Lakeview  Tennessee Log Home.  The design is their own and construction was by Paul Price.  Paul builds Tennessee Log Homes for a living.  Ellen sells Tennessee Log homes for a living.....and, WOW!, what a living it must be.

Ellen has become one of our most successful dealers.  The turrets on this elevation, finished in log siding, are very popular with her customers.

The shed dormer and two turrets added to the back of the home add architectural interest and living space to the original Lakeview plan.

Here are the interior views into the turrets.  Note the beautiful arch that was cut from the log walls for the entrance to the dining and sitting room.

Their Custom Lakeview was built on a full basement.  A deck was added to the upstairs loft.  Skylights have also been added.

Future plans call for a fireplace.  The foundation will be covered with stone.

As the pictures show, Paul is an excellent builder.  Check out the custom cut arch leading into the turret.  There is another off the master bedroom leading into the back turret (which is now a dining room).  Snow blocking and wainscoting were fashioned from 1x8 T&G.  A custom island was built using log profile siding for the side walls.  Nice, stainless steel appliances accent the kitchen.  

The floors are Hickory.  The kitchen floor and counter tops are ceramic tile inlay.  Kitchen cabinets are Hickory. There is plenty of light in this beautiful, open, airy Lakeview.

All the custom glass in the Lakeview lets the outside in.  The great room feels so very large with the glass and high ceilings.

The shed dormer accommodates this lovely informal area in the loft.

The beautiful Douglas Fir exposed beams and collar ties accent all ceilings in the home.

The great room ceiling is very high....and look at all that glass.

Notice:

• The detailed sash work on the window trim.  

• A custom built door on the right.

The kitchen and baths all have ceramic tile inlay for cabinet tops.  This adds consistent flow and interest throughout the home.
