This lakeside home near Rockhill, SC is
owned by Larry and Kathy Wilson. The home boasts over 7000 square
feet.
The construction was started in August of 2001 and is only a few months from completion. |

The lakeside features a screened porch
with Premier Roof off the master bed and bath suite on the left. The center section deck is covered by the roof overhang. All doors in the home are 8-feet tall. The center ridge is nearly 30 feet tall. |

On the right lakeside is a beautiful
tower bay with breakfast area on the lower level and a gorgeous bedroom on
the upper level. The bay section on the right houses a sunken bar area which is off of Larry's room - featuring a towering fireplace, pool table and media room. |

The drive side elevation also has a
center section covered porch supported by round columns. Awning windows accent the dining room on the left. There is a beautiful guest bedroom upstairs. |

The beautiful glass in the center
section allows one to see all the way through the home to the lake on the
rear. The finished roofing is dark green 24 gauge standing seam metal and is near completion.
All exterior doors, windows and fixed glass are green clad exterior and wood interior by Caradco. All fascia and window trim is western red cedar. |

The three car garage extends off the front of the home at an angle. The home is well over 100 feet long. |

The log wall system is the 8x12 D-log
with dovetail corner joinery. The stain color is Sikkens Butternut. The cultured stone is a beautiful match and covers the entire foundation, all porch piers and chimneys. |

The exposed beam second floor system acts
as the ceilings for the first floor. Cross beams were added over the
kitchen and dining areas for a unique look. All beams are Douglas Fir. |

The stairs are made from beautiful
Douglas Fir half round 12-inch logs. The stair case is located just inside the front entry way and lead up to a large loft area. |

The loft features Caradco fixed glass on either end of the center section of the home. The glass shown here is 16-feet tall and is flanked by Douglas Fir glu-lam purlins. |

The lakeside tower bay is accented by
round corner caps. The tower bay is over 24 feet tall. The center windows are sliders, and the windows on the right and left are casements that will crank open. |

This is the inside view from Larry's
room, looking at the sunken bar area. The arch in the log wall is
nearly 12 feet tall and over 12 feet wide. Congratulations to the Wilson's on their beautiful home. |
